Caterpillar, the company behind yellow-painted construction equipment, has revealed a concept for a heavy-duty pickup named the Cat Truck, inspired by AI-generated images posted online in 2024. The truck is designed to be a Ford Super Duty with a body kit, a logo, and various tech-focused add-ons. It features a drone-launching station, a driver-fatigue monitoring system, and a camera system to detect if workers are too close to heavy machinery. The concept has not yet been confirmed by Caterpillar.
