Sackamburg firefighter Evan Zibell, 37, died on April 11 after suffering a heart attack. The sudden death has led to an outpouring of support from fellow firefighters and the broader community. The Schaumburg Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 4092, expressed their deep gratitude for the outpourouring of prayers, messages, and expressions of support. Ziball had worked as a paramedic/firefighter for the Schaumbumburg Fire Department for nine years. His funeral services will take place at The Chapel in Grayslake and a procession will travel to Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville for a burial.
