The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned that temperatures will soar this week, potentially causing potentially dangerous heat-related conditions. Temperatures are expected to reach 20-30 degrees above normal for this time of year, with some areas potentially breaking all-time records for March. NWS has advised that while the heat will peak Thursday and Friday, temperatures will remain above normal into the next week. The agency has also advised SoCal residents to limit their outdoor activities between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., with preliminary projections suggesting temperatures could reach nearly 100 degrees regionwide on both days.
