The Phoenix New Times is raising funds to raise $10,000 by April 26 to support the newspaper's coverage of downtown Phoenix. The weekly series, the Weekly WTF, aims to answer readers' questions about the city and learn more about what makes metro Phoenix, particularly about the best deals during happy hour. Restaurants such as Cornish Pasty Co., SoSoBa and Welcome Diner are noted for their unique deals, which include $9 ramen and $6 Old Fashioned. Other notable spots include the Vig's seasonal happy hour, which includes frozen margaritas for $6 and draft beers for $5. For an elevated experience without the matching pricetag, head to Filthy, or Tini Time, or the swanky cocktail bar hidden inside Cleaverman Steakhouse at Arizona Center. Pedal Haus Brewery offers a discount from 3 to 6 p.m. on its own craft brews at its outpost on the Roosevelt Row outpost.
