The Rams, who began their season with a 24-0 win in Florida, have outscored opponents 156-34. Their pitching has been a strong performance, with senior TJ Rodriguez pitching into the fifth inning in the Rams’ 9-1 win over Lake Forest, senior Luke Eckenstahler, and sophomore Beau Barrows being a surprise. The team's teamwide ERA is below 1.50. Additionally, junior shortstop Charlie Surowiec and senior second baseman Carson Woods have been strong defensively. The first-place Scouts have yielded two or fewer runs in eight of their 13 games, including five shutouts.
