Former New York Yankee player, CC Sabathia, will see his number retired this fall when the team dedicates a plaque in his honor to him before their game against the Baltimore Orioles. Sabathian, who joined the Yankees in 2009 and played for them until his final season in 2019, said the honor of having his number retired compared to his 2025 induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame. He is currently working as a broadcast analyst for Netflix's live broadcast of MLB Opening Night.
