New Holland Construction has released its first battery-powered mini excavator, the E15X, in 2023. The new 2.5 ton E25X electric excavator is designed to enable contractors to take on larger jobs and offer the same flexibility as the smaller E15x. It also offers low noise and reduced maintenance, making it ideal for residential, urban, and indoor projects with strict noise and pollution rules. New Holland has included features such as hydraulically-retracting tracks that can shrink down to 3 feet 3 inches wide and an ultra-compact tail swing overhang of just 18 inches. The E25x also ships standard with a seven-year telematics subscription through myNewHollandConstruction.
