Volkswagen's all-electric ID.Buzz minivan, introduced as a concept at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, may be priced right at less than $49,000. However, Volkswagen had high hopes for the van due to high dealer markups and over-estimation of its lasting cultural impact. Despite this, the van's mainstream success was limited at $70,000 by its arrival on US shores.
