Motorcyclist killed in Hancock Expressway crash identified

The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Sunday, April 12, has been identified as 39-year-old Jeffrey Lampman. The incident occurred at around 10 p.m. The police believe that the motorcycle was speeding when it hit the rear of the moving vehicle. The Major Crash Team is investigating the incident. This is the 15th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2026.
