The President, who had promised to revitalize the economy and prevent the U.S. from engaging in foreign conflicts, is now facing a war he didn't have a mandate to wage and may only be beginning the economic pain. He has vowed to use unprecedented means to unleash devastating force against Iran, but insists that he would never allow artificial intelligence to make lethal decisions, insisting that a human would always control the chain of command. However, there are few options he appears unwilling to take off the table. The risk of intensifying the military campaign may be that it will disrupt economic stability before political damage begins.
