Laredo man arrested after reporting stolen car tied to human smuggling crash

A 21-year-old man from Laredo has been arrested for reporting a stolen car, which was involved in a police pursuit and a crash related to an alleged human smuggling attempt. The car was found abandoned after the incident. The man was charged with making false statements to a police officer and filing a false alarm.
