Men’s basketball: Duke earns top overall seed for NCAA tourney

Duke has been named the top overall seed for the NCAA men's basketball tournament, followed by Arizona, Michigan, and Florida. The top line was predictable, with Michigan's drop of one spot to the overall No. 3 due to their loss to Purdue. Meanwhile, Miami (Ohio) narrowly made the field as a No. 11 seed despite a 31-1 record and a 339th-ranked strength of schedule. The tournament will begin with play-in games between Texas and North Carolina State, and the national champion will be announced at the Final Four in Indianapolis on April 6.
