Bus Driver Attacked In Road Rage Incident In Westchester Remains Hospitalized With Brain Bleed: DA

Thwwill Anasu, a 29-year-old Manhattan man, has been arraigned on one count of felony assault related to a road rage attack on an MTA bus driver in Yonkers, Westchester. The bus driver was severely beaten and remains hospitalized with a brain bleed. Anasu is accused of placing the victim in a chokehold, applying pressure to his throat, and then repeatedly punching him in the face. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Samantha Murphy. Anastastastately, a judge set bail at $5,000 cash, $50,000 bond, and a temporary order of protection for the victim.
