Defensive tackles have become more valuable in the NFL draft due to their ability to rush the passer. However, there is not much of a pass-rushing threat with this year's draft-eligible defensive tackles as they are primarily run-stufferers. This year's defensive tackles will have their best representation on Day 2 and 3, with Ohio State's Kayden Proctor, Clemson's Peter Woods, and Texas Tech’s Lee Hunter potentially in the first round. The draft is set to take place in Pittsburgh next week. The top five defensive tackles are McDonald (6-foot-2, 326 pounds), who made 65 tackles, including 9 TFLs, and McDonald (5-foot), who is considered high quality but not a game-changer.
