Lobos roll past Saint Joseph’s, surge into NIT semifinals

UNM Lobos advanced to the NIT semifinals after defeating Saint Joseph’s Hawks 84-69 in front of a crowd of 8,054. The win moves the Lobos (26-10) to next week's NIT semifinal against Tulsa, an 83-79 winner over Wichita State. Tomislav Buljan and Jake Hall scored 27 points and 11 rebounds respectively, setting a new freshman season scoring record for the Mountain West. Debutant Devena Albury returned from the flu to score nine points for UNM. The team's three-game NIT attendance total stands at 24,547.
