A 1983 draft of Larry David's film script, "Prognosis: Negative," has been leaked online by a 24-year-old man named Jeremy Smith. The script, which follows a man named Leo Black who rekindles his relationship with an ex-girlfriend, was never produced. Robert B. Weide, who would later serve as a producer and director of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," was an early advocate for “Prognodus: Negative” when he served as head of development at a Hollywood agency specializing in comedy. Despite initial interest from the agency, David declined to take the agency's notes and went on to build a successful career in television.
