DC fast charger maker Kempower, electric long-haul truck maker Windrose, and EV Realty have completed a successful Megawatt Charging System (MCS) session at their San Bernardino charging hub. This is the first time a Kempower Mega Satellite MCS has been used for charging in North America. The Megawat Charging system is designed to deliver more than 1 megawatt (MW) of power, far beyond current fast chargers. This means faster charging for big electric trucks, shorter downtime, and more efficient fleet operations. The San Bernardino hub is expected to open in April 2026. Meanwhile, Kempower has been working on MCS deployments in Europe for six months.
