Connecticut Attorney General William Tong has joined a coalition of 23 attorneys general and one governor in challenging President Trump's Executive Order, "DoingIt", which restricts voter eligibility and mail voting to lists pre-approved by the federal government. The lawsuit alleges that the Executive Order violates the separation of powers and violates states' authority to administer elections. The coalition is asking the court to prevent federal government from implementing or enforcing this Executive Order.
