Referee suffers ‘medical emergency’ in OVW wrestling match scene gone very wrong

Referee Dallas Edwards suffered a medical emergency during an Ohio Valley Wrestling event when someone from the top rope collided with him. The incident occurred during which Edwards started convulsing on the mat and was dragged to the side of the mat by wrestler Tony Evans. The company confirmed that Edwards is currently alert and doing well. The broadcast was interrupted several times by announcers, but they acknowledged the medical situation and stopped the broadcast. The event is set to resume with March Mayhem at Hotpoint Davis Arena in Louisville.
