Michael Collins, who was 17 at the time of the fatal crash, has pleaded guilty to one count of grossly negligent manslaughter by motor vehicle and another count of auto theft. The stolen vehicle hit the side of 35-year-old Shaunte Canty's vehicle on August 26, 2025, causing serious injuries. Canty died at the scene, along with three other teenage boys in the vehicle. Collins will be sentenced on August 28.
