Cooper Holman’s grand slam, Ryan Kettman’s two-way game lift Wilmington to sweep of Herscher

Wilmington High School baseball swept over Herscher, with an 8-1 victory over the Tigers. Cooper Holman and Ryan Kettman both scored grand slams in the victory, while Kettmen pitched five innings and added three hits. The win gave Wilmington a series sweep over Herschers, marking the start of a crucial two-game set for the team. The Wildcats finished third in Class 2A two years ago and were a game away from back-to-back state trips last spring. Coach Eric Regezers described the team's performance as a "exceptional baseball operation" and a "balloon operation".
