The Moto Watch, a $150 device from Motorola, has been criticized for its low-key approach to fitness in the sport. The partnership with Polar, along with dual-band GPS and a week-long battery life at this price, was seen as a breakthrough moment for Motorola. However, the watch's performance and execution were inconsistent, with an average heart rate one beat off from the chest strap and a max heart rate off seven beats. The watch also lacks advanced features such as ECG or temperature tracking. Despite its compact design, the Moto Watch is too bulky to wear while sleeping. It's not fully functional for casual activity tracking, nor is a suitable replacement for training.
