Studio Display XDR may be used to look at your next MRI or X-Ray

Apple has received FDA approval for the Studio Display XDR, a device that can be used as a DICOM monitor to view X-rays or other scans. The smaller 27-inch display is still Retina with ProMotion and Adaptive sync. The FDA has cleared the Medical Imaging Calibrator and Apple can roll it out to users. This means professionals who purchased the display can begin using it in this capacity soon. DICom imaging for viewing X-ray and other medical files can be set up via the display options in System Preferences.
