Google has launched a desktop app for Windows that resembles the Spotlight feature in its attempt to compete with Apple's Spotlight feature. The app is available globally and works with PCs with Windows 10 or newer. It can be downloaded from the company's website and can search both the web and files on your computer and on Google Drive. It is unclear if this app will be available to other platforms like Mac.
