Police in Fukuoka have arrested or referred eight males, including a 22-year-old self-proclaimed tattoo artist, for suspected violations of the Narcotics Control Law. Tetsuya Tsurusaki, a tattoo artist from Fukuok City, is accused of conspiring with two 19-year youths to sell marijuana and a liquid containing narcotic substances for 11,000 yen in a parking lot in Kitakyushu City. The suspects, who range in age from late teens to their 40s, communicate via smartphone apps to carry out illicit jobs. Police also seized ski masks, extendable batons and wrenches, leading to suspicion of further violent crimes.
