Gotham FC celebrated its 2025 NWSL championship trophy with a ring ceremony at Sports Illustrated Stadium in San Francisco after a 0-0 draw with the North Carolina Courage. The team, which has won two of the past three NWSL championships, saw themselves as a budding dynasty after sneaking into the playoffs as the eighth and final seed. The club owners Carolyn Tisch Blodgett and Ed Nalbandian presented the team's rings to members of last year's team. Despite a slow start to the season, the team remains optimistic about their future in the MLS, with players looking forward to a successful season.
