The Container Store is beginning a chainwide "store changing" event, which will see the return of Bed Bath & Beyond branding and products to 98 locations across the country. The company plans to liquidate about 30 percent of The Container Store products. Beginning in May, these locations are expected to transition to the new format. The former New Jersey-based company announced in 2023 that it would file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in that state, citing online competition and a weakening economy as reasons for its downfall.
