A registered sex offender, Giovanni Leon, has been arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Culver City, California on March 1. The victim was walking in an alleyway when the suspect grabbed her from behind and lifted her off the ground, despite her attempts to escape. The suspect was identified as Leon, a 24-year-old Los Angeles resident, who was later arrested for assault with intent to commit a sexual offense. Police are working with other local law enforcement agencies to identify any additional potential victims.
