Hospital opens 'safe space' to support people facing sight loss

A new hub at Noble's Hospital has been established to support people facing sight loss, helping them manage and adapt to changes in vision. The facility, set up by eye Care Liaison Officer Lesley Hankinson, can demonstrate accessible equipment such as magnifiers and talking clocks, and offer guidance on how to support loved ones. The initiative is aimed at making support more accessible and personal, ensuring that no one facing such a diagnosis can feel isolated.
