Tristan Parker, an 8-year-old boy from Lake Isabella, has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The community is rallying to help his family navigate the long road ahead, including the challenge of traveling for specialized medical care. Prior to his illness, Tristan was an active, healthy child who loved outdoors, dinosaurs, and learning about animals. He has undergone numerous tests and surgeries, including a blood transfusion and chemotherapy. A GoFundMe page is raising money to bring Tristan closer to Valley Children’s Hospital for treatment and support his needs during treatment.
