Speedboat steps in as lack of wind thwarts duck race

The weather disrupted the annual Chester Duck Race 2026, held by the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, causing a significant disruption to the event. A speedboat was used to push the ducks to the finish, assisted by a paddle boarder. The event was watched by hundreds of spectators and was attended by the public.
