Justus Annunen carries Preds past Kraken in surprise start

Justus Annunen made an unscheduled start to play for the Nashville Predators against the Seattle Kraken, taking over from Juuse Saros, who suffered an upper-body injury. Annenen made 25 saves, including a goal and two assists from Filip Forsberg, Ryan Ufko and Ryan O'Reilly, and Freddy Gaudreau scored for Nashville. The win lifts Nashville to within reach of Seattle in the chase for the Western Conference's second and final wild-card playoff berth. Joey Daccord stopped 24 of 26 shots for Seattle, marking the start of a six-game trip.
