Luka Doncic, the NBA's scoring leader, scored 60 points in a thrilling game against the Miami Heat, helping the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Heat 134-126. The game was so impressive that it overshadowed another record for LeBron James, who tied Robert Parish's career record with 19-point, 10-point triple in games played. Doncick, now 1.9 points per game ahead of Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the scoring race, is averaging 37.2 points in March and is averaging 35.1 points since the All-Star break. The Lakers are now winners of eight consecutive games. Coach Rick Redick believes DoncIC should be in the MVP conversation.
