Treasury yields tick higher after Trump extends Iran deal deadline

The U.S. Treasury yields have risen after President Donald Trump extended a pause on energy facility attacks by 10 days to allow for peace talks. The 10-year Treasury yield was almost 2 basis points higher at 4.434%, while the 30-year yield was nearly 3.962. The suspension will expire on April 6. Meanwhile, oil prices have risen, with Brent crude futures gaining 1.4% and West Texas Intermediate futures rising by 0.8%.
