Motorcycle passenger killed in Hwy 24 crash identified

A motorcycle passenger, 30-year-old Ashley Moore, was killed following a collision on Highway 24 between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on March 5. The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended the pickup, causing both the rider and passenger to be ejected. Both were transported to a hospital with critical injuries. The Major Crash Team took over the investigation and no charges have been filed. This is the 8th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2026.
