The 98th Academy Awards took place on March 15, with "Sinners" leading with 16 nominations, including best picture, best director, best actor, best supporting actor, and best supporting actress. This makes it the most nominated Oscar film of all time. Other notable nominees included "One Battle After Another," "Sentimental Value," "Frankenstein," and "Hamnet". The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences added a new category: casting. The ceremony was held in Hollywood, Los Angeles, with no obvious winners yet.
