Jon Rahm, a member of the LIV Golf tournament, has defended his decision not to participate in the DP World Tour, stating that the conditions he agreed to comply with are "extort" and he owes the DPWT a fine of between $2 million and $3 million. Rahm also stated that he would only participate in six of the DPWW's events, two of which the tournament would choose. If he does not comply, he would be ineligible to compete for the European team at the 2027 Ryder Cup.
