A Cleveland man, 46, was arrested after fleeing police in a Cadillac Escalade on I-71. Police tried to pull over Cadillac because the man was driving 83 mph and accelerated to more than 100 mph. The man accelerated and swerved back onto 71, nearly causing other vehicles to collide. Police ordered him out of the Cadillac at gunpoint and took him to Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights. An intoxicated Chardon man was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. April 13 after he refused to leave his apartment lobby. The 2004 Honda CR-V vehicle was reported stolen from the parking lot of UAW Local 1250.
