Police make second drug arrest in March near NE Portland BottleDrop

A second drug-related arrest has occurred near a Northeast Portland BottleDrop center in March, with the suspect being accused of selling fentanyl and methamphetamine. This arrest highlights the ease it is to obtain opioids and other substances. The suspect was identified by Portland Police Bureau Sgt. Craig Andersen. The drugs are often sold to users who exchange cans for cash. In addition to the drug sales, police have also confiscated $523 in cash and various weapons. The investigation is ongoing.
