Germany has implemented regulations to prevent gas stations from raising pump prices more than once a day, in response to the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military conflict and rising oil supply. The regulations allow for one price increase a day at 12pm and companies could face fines up to 100,000 euros ($116,000) for violating the ban. The country is also considering new legislation to help reduce the price hikes. The regulation is intended to break the "rock and feather effect", where fuel prices often rise quickly when crude oil prices rise.
