The leading documentary festival CPH:DOX chose the theme for its second-ever CPH Summit as the future of the audiovisual industry. In the opening keynote, Arte France President Bruno Patino warned that AI has pushed the industry into a ‘Relationship Economy’ and that the only solution is coalition. Patino highlighted the shift in information consumption and the decline in shared-commons, suggesting that public broadcasting is a form of collective solidarity. He also warned that global players are becoming more powerful and that content production is now nearly limitless due to AI technology. He warned that the future lies in a "push era" where consumers wait for content to reach them, not the other way around.
