Dutch developer of iron fuel, Rift, has raised €83.1m in Series B funding and secured €30.7m in project financing from the EU Innovation Fund. Other notable companies include Prolium Bioscience, a NYC-based autoimmune biotech firm, Poplar Therapeutics, Fig Security, and JetStream Security. Norway's sovereign wealth fund, NBIM, has agreed to pay $425m for a 33.3% stake in a portfolio of U.S. solar plants and wind power facilities. The news also includes a minority investment in Aeromed, a Charlotte-based provider of supply chain solutions to aerospace and defense. Bernhard Capital Partners and Stonepeak Partners are in talks to buy Louisiana power producer Cleco from Macquarie Group for over $5b.
