Teen who was stabbed near police department and his attacker arrested following investigation, N.J. cops say

A 16-year-old boy was found stabbed seven times near the Hackensack Police Department, New Jersey, and his attacker, identified as Joaquin Morris Jr., 18, who allegedly used a large machete to stab the boy multiple times. The victim was taken to Hackensacks University Medical Center in stable condition. The 16-years-old was charged with juvenile delinquency and is currently being held in the Bergen County Juvenile Detention Facility pending court proceedings. The family has stated that the boy was removed from school due to safety concerns.
