Bad mix of weather and TSA staffing woes add to airport delays

The partial government shutdown has resulted in significant delays in airport operations due to weather conditions and a lack of full-paying TSA workers. This has led to more travel headaches as a winter storm approaches the Midwest and spring break travelers try to fly. Four members of a Palestinian family, including two boys aged 5 and 7, have been fatally shot by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank. Israel's military said the soldiers opened fire due to feeling threatened by the family's movement. The incident is under investigation. The Great American Flag Preservation Group cleaned one of the world's largest American flags in New Mexico ahead of the country's 250th anniversary.
