A 31-year-old Florida man, Ahad Hasanov, has been charged in connection with a kidnapping that began in Ohio and ended in New Jersey. The victim escaped at a truck stop after being restrained, sexually assaulted and transported across multiple states. Hasanov was arrested and charged after the incident occurred on March 4, 2026. If convicted, Hasanov could face up to 20 years in prison.
