Sharks call up goaltending help following Yaroslav Askarov’s injury

The San Jose Sharks have recalled their goalkeeper, Laurent Brossoit, following an injury to their player Yaroslav Askarov during a game against the St. Louis Blues. Askarov sustained an upper body injury and did not return as the Sharks lost 2-1 in overtime. The Sharks are currently 0-5-1 since mid-March and will play against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday before returning home for a six-game homestand.
