First Lady Melania Trump was accompanied by a robot created by Silicon Valley startup, Figure 03, for a summit in the White House East Room. The robot was part of a global initiative called Fostering the Future Together, which is discussing ways to empower children through education, innovation and technology, including artificial intelligence. The company has introduced its third-generation humanoid robot for use in household tasks such as laundry and washing dishes. F03 is competing with companies in China, Boston Dynamics and Elon Musk.
