President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of acquiring Iranian oil as the U.S. continues its war against Iran, which officials believe is aimed at depriving Iran of a nuclear weapon and defending it. However, he did not rule out the possibility, citing Venezuela as a potential source. This could strain U.K. relations with China, where 80% of Iran's crude oil exports go to. He also expressed dissatisfaction over Iran's selection of a new supreme leader following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
