A brush fire has been reported near homes in Phelan, California, has threatened to destroy the livelihood of the public. The fire was first reported at 11:52 a.m. and quickly grew to 5 acres. It is estimated that it could reach an additional 10 acres. The flames are burning through light-to-existence fuels at a rapid rate.
