‘Nashville meets South Florida’: DJ Diplo-backed West Palm Cowboy Club with Miami barbecue opening on Clematis Street

The West Palm Cowboy Club, a two-story barbecue restaurant and music club, has opened on Clematis Street in downtown Florida. The co-owner, Brian Swanson, credits DJ Diplo with the club's success, which includes Miami-style barbecue from Allapattah's Slab Daddy BBQ chef, Adrian Ricouz. The venue features two bars, a glittery disco ball-shaped pig as its mascot, and thousands of whiskey-barrel staves. Swanson describes the venue as a "refined, grown-up" offshoot of his Columbus-based barbecue house Bristol Republic. The grand opening is set for March 26.
